An innovative and energy-efficient house was built in 2020 by the Dutch construction company Revobuild. The house is located on a plot of 1,236 m2.
The advanced Revobuild® construction method, patented in the EU, has the advantage that the house is very well insulated, so energy consumption is kept to a minimum.
A major advantage is its consumption of 27.45 kWh/m2. It is almost a passive house, even without photovoltaics.
The house, with a living area of 135 m2, consists of two levels. On the first floor there is a spacious living room with a dining room with access to the terrace, an open kitchen, an entrance hall, a bathroom with a toilet and a technical room. On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms with a high, gabled roof, as well as a bathroom with toilet and an entrance hall. Both bedrooms have access to a balcony (area of 70 sqm) with a partially covered terrace that overlooks the green surroundings.
Bright, modern interiors, dominated by wood elements and earth colors, bring harmony and tranquility to the rooms. The kitchen with white fronts and a wooden countertop has the necessary built-in appliances. The first floor is accessed through an open wooden staircase. Both bathrooms have a shower, walk-in closets with LED lighting and a toilet.
